    hi folks,
i'm planning an extension and wanted any advice on how big i should build? basically i want to fit a kitchen with island, a dining table and a lounge area with L shaped couch or 3 seater 2 seater combo facing a tv.. i'm hoping that a 19.5 sq meter extension will do it which will mean the open space will be 44 sq meters with the space being pretty much square with 2 double french doors out to garden. The best advice I can give is talk to an architect or other design professional (not a builder).

If you looking for advice on the cheap, you'll get cheap advice.

Surely the design, technical detail, compliance with the building regulations, compliance with planning regulations and proposed construction materials all need the input of a design professional? (again not a builder or lay person).
