    Hi im applying to TR071 and i would like someone who is in this course would tell me what its like??

    There's a thread that might be helpful to you, you'll have to go back a bit but there's definitely some answers to this kind of question there (saw them all when I was trawling through it earlier looking for advice on module choices for next year :pac:)

    As for me, I'm not quite done first year in science yet but overall it's a good course, especially if you're not quite sure what you want to end up with yet (went in in September utterly sure I was headed for neuroscience, then wanted immunology or genetics, now think microbiology). There's a huge amount of people in lectures cos you'll be sharing them with people that are already in a set course (human genetics, nanoscience and the like) but tutorials are a good bit smaller and pretty useful. There's a pretty wide range of modules you can take, I think difficulty/workload kind of depends on which ones you pick, if you're planning on taking biology, chemistry, maths or geology I can tell ya more about those :)
