Because "good scientists" are always up for a bit of canniablism.

Anyway, build it high and wide that strawman, see who is biting.

What the hell are you talking about? You put a link about something and then rant about Dawkins. Is he working on this or something?

    Isnt there laws about cannibalism?

I heard it's not juicy and delicious when it's no longer attached.

I don't think Dawkins has ever said all science is infallible, it would be unscientific to say such a thing. While Science would allow us to do this it would also tell us eating human flesh would have all sort of negative health effects for the person eating it.

Now Im no fan of the Dicky Dawkins culture but what you've done here is really quite weird.

Rusting shopping trolleys ? - lets see them Dawkinites justify that one.
Chewing gum up 2c ? - I suppose they have an answer for that too.

Depends on how much special sauce one would want to fill their bun with, I'd imagine.

But but but, if it sounds 'sciency' and is bad then science is bad, right? And Dawkins is the high priest of science. Persecute the heretic!

Sounds a bit like a creationist argument: let's start with the conclusion and see what we can dig up to pass as evidence.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Here we go, I am a Jebus Freak if I do not adore Dawkins.

Anyway, it is not so much Dawkins but the ex-Catholics who read one of his books and convert their former Catholic Zeal into an Atheist Zeal. Most of them know shag all about Science beyond the Discovery Channel and would defend the Nazi experiments if they were around in the 1940's.

If someone came along and said this is science gone nuts, they would be called Creationists by people like you.

Life was easier when you mauled your rosary beads in front of the Child of Prague. Wasn't it? Your old team never asked much of you except faith. Eh?

Jury's still out to be fair, but when you open with with "this is a good one for the Richard Dawkins 'all science is infallible' brigade to champion as 'good science' and reason." you're not doing your point any favours.

Anyway, back on topic. I never mentioned Jesus. I was refering to what's called "confirmation bias". It's not specific to religion, I just used the creationist angle as an example. People who watch Fox News for evidence that America's rich are beign persucuted are exactly the same.

Furthermore, there is the little or no connection between Dawkins, Caholicism, Athiesm or whatever and the story you linked to. Or if there was, you didn't explain it very well.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

No body ever really believed this.
If you get this fact wrong I have to question your other statements,
I don't think you should be supporting eating human meat.

Why do you have to go to extremes and link completely unrelated issues? No ones saying you have to adore Dawkins but what has he got to do with a company that wants to make artificial meat out of celebrity DNA?
Most of them know shag all about Science beyond the Discovery Channel and would defend the Nazi experiments if they were around in the 1940's.
Outside of their eugenics and race related pseudo science that Hitler and his cronies promoted to try and confirm all their bizarre biases against people they saw as beneath them the scientific work the Nazi's did was ground breaking, they practically invented modern warfare, humanities space program, jet planes. They did have ground breaking science but that doesn't mean we have to like what they did or agree with their methods. Just like the Romans set the standard for civilization despite being pretty horrible people.

You'd probably get a better reaction over at A&A, you know. I mean it's obvious that's what your angle here is so why not go for gold instead of settling for the easiest board to do this on?

Except when it comes to gay marriage, contraception, abortion, homo/bisexuality, extramarital sex, being able to go to a school not controlled by a strict Catholic "ethos" (as ~95% of schools in Ireland are) etc.

Thread title is misleading, I expected a thread about a company who wants to make food out of celebrity flesh, but all I got was a thread about how the OP dislikes atheists.

    Idiots.

Mad cow disease all over again if you recycle food.

And even mad cow disease was Kuru all over again and that was completely unforgivable as Kuru was well known as an incurable disease in humans with a fatality rate of 100% and only one transmission method.

    http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/kuru/kuru.htm
There were no treatments that could control or cure kuru, other than discouraging the practice of cannibalism. Currently, there are no cures or treatments for any of the other TSE diseases.

anyway here's the biomass if you want to figure out how much "food" is wasted

Yep, eating human meat is bad for humans. Gives you diseases and stuff.

    Science, bitch.
