    Here's a question for all NON-subscription paying boardies only. I'm a SKY subscriber and am looking at various non-subscription TV options that are available to people living just outside the Dublin area. Obviously there are other options but I'll stick to these three options for now :)

    There are lot of knowledgable people on here and I'm curious, what is your current non-sub setup for TV? Feel free to include pictures!

    Freesat or FTA box with Saorview compatible TV + Aerial attached

    your three options are kind of close

    heres what I have

    Tv 1 saorview tv with sat box connected to astra 28, 23, 19 and hotbird 13. (sky box with bt sub only as well)

    TV 2 saorview tv with manhatten hds2 freesat box (have a 19.2 connection here as well but can't use on the manhatten)

    Tv 3 tv and combo box (28/19.2)

    Tv4 saorview Tv with french tnt sat box on astra 19.2(free to view)

    3 x FTA/ DTT combo's at the moment. 2 x ariva 150 (from just before Christmas) and one old combo (Edison) that dates back to the test transmissions. The two arivas replaced sd freesat boxes on saorview approved TV's - multi tele recording and HD was the reason we switched, couldn't justify the cost of freesat hd or freesat+. We both have apps on our phones and tablets when now and next epg isn't enough. Satellite is just 28.2.
