Brazil for the World Cup!

    Hi guys,

    Is there anyone on boards heading to the World Cup in Brazil in June?! I'm heading there myself for 6 weeks. First month in Lapa- last 2 weeks on Copacabana! :) Living the dream... :)

    I'll be there from June 7th, first week in Rio, then spending most of the tournament in Salvador.

    Copacabana is overrated. Definitely prefer Ipanema. Safer too, although I'm sure both will be more risky for crime with such crowds.
