Garda vetting - previous court appearance

I am starting some voluntary work this week and need to be garda vetted. What I'd like to know is how do I treat a case that was struck out?
About 8\9 years ago I was caught with a couple of pills and got a summons about 10 months later. The garda didn't show up in court so the judge struck the case out.
The voluntary work I'm doing is with problematic drug users and the organisation know about the court appearance so it's not a barrier to the position. I just want to know what I should put on the form.

The form asks - have you ever been convicted of an offence? Should I list the appearance or not seeing as I wasn't found guilty or not guilty?
I only ask because the form is confusing in that it asks for the "court outcome". Also I take it that given the fact I appeared in court I was being "prosucuted"? The information sheet I got from the organisation I'll be working with says I have to list prosecutions as well as convictions, though it doesn't differentiate on the actual form.

    Hope this is clear?!

    Thanks

The form is to show what you were convicted of. The organisation want to know what you were prosecuted for. In relation to the form you were not convicted of anything. In relation to the organisation you were prosecuted but the case was struck out.

I am looking at one pf the forms now and it just asks for convictions

You have not been convicted of anything so you can answer no.

If you submit to Garda vetting it will be on the form that you were unsuccessfully prosecuted.

If the organization already know then there should be no problem.
