Turbo Query

Using my housemates turbo at the moment as its far too dark after work to ride and the locals are maniacs on the road.

When I put the back wheel in place and screw either side to clamp in the back wheel you can see the back of of the frame bend/move/compress as the pressure increases. Is this normal? I am quite heavy chap and I dont want to damage my bike or the turbo.

Its got no instructions to read and my housemate is away for two weeks.

My turbo warns me not to clamp the back wheel too tightly. It just needs to be secure and as it's a cup fitting over a ball, it isn't going anywhere even if there's almost no pressure.

Mine is a tacx for what that's worth.

No idea the brand of the one I am using. Also. the (excuse my terminology) roller thing the tyre connects with, should it be pressed hard against the tyre? I have it lightly pressed and am using the gears for resistance. I am just getting over an injury.

    Cheers for your help
