Let me start off with saying a move to Cavan a year ago was needed, however, I had no idea my social life would go this far down the hill. I'm open & out but only to those who know me, so people on my course and work are oblivious to it because I don't want complications to arise. There are no LGBT clubs for young people…

Let me start off with saying a move to Cavan a year ago was needed, however, I had no idea my social life would go this far down the hill. I'm open & out but only to those who know me, so people on my course and work are oblivious to it because I don't want complications to arise. There are no LGBT clubs for young people like myself, nor are there any bars so I was wondering if there were any lesbians about the Cavan area on here that I could socialise with, even some gay men. I have straight friends but with LGBT people I can be myself with?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Not sure if you're in Carlow IT, but if you are they're lgbt society is supposedly really good.
