Looking for recommendations on where i can get cheap wine. Cheapest I've found is Tesco with a Macques De Leon for €4.39 a bottle. It's not for drinking but for knocking from a glass onto a wall. I'm looking for about 15 litres or so. Any thoughts?

    Use coloured water instead.

Thanks, but coloured water doesn't look that much like wine so that's not really a possibility. It's being filmed in slow motion and reasonably close so it has to be wine.

Catering supply shops do cooking wine, Musgraves do 5ltrs boxes, there will be no duty or vat, if you know someone with a card. Its un drinkable as salt and pepper has been added but it should be a lot cheaper than ordinary wine. They do the same for whisky and brandy.

I rang Elliots cash and carry, just off Camden Street. Their cooking wine costs €11 per litre. Pretty expensive when you consider Tesco's cheapest drinking wine is only €5.85 per litre.

I got the baron St Jean and Aldi's grape juice too. Both are indistinguishable in the glass. I'll test them out and see how it looks. Thanks for the help.

They both look the same in the test video too. Looks like I'll be going with 20 litres of juice!
