Horizon Box / Panasonic TV

    Hi,

I have been trying to connect the UPC Horizon box to my Panasonic smart TV (TX-L42E6B). I can get it to work no problem over wifi but would like it working over ethernet cable.

Have tried this and the TV just says "Ethernet cable is not connected correctly". It is a standard cat5e cable and works with other devices (Macbook).

Have tried every IP/DNS setting on the TV I can think of but no joy.. Best I can think is that the Horizon box is rejecting the connection for some reason. In the Horizon WebApp it does show the TV but lists it as "disconnected".

This has been driving me mad for days now, does anyone here perhaps have any suggestions? Would be very grateful....

    Cheers

    Alan
