Mods: Not sure what part of Tech forum this should be in. Please move if posted in incorrect forum. Thanks.

I have a TV with HDMI ports. However, my laptop doesn't have HDMI and I don't own any other devices with HDMI capability.

I'm looking for the cheapest option to allow me to watch content via the HDMI on the TV. I've seen some USB to HDMI convertors but these are the same price as some lower end tablets.

I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a possible cheap solution to my HDMI problem. Thanks.
