Hi looking for a decent mount for my iPhone 5s for the car.
Have one currently on the wind-shield which I used for a 4s but the 5s keeps slipping out of it.

Only want it yo hold the phone

Hey any recommendations on a car mount for iPhone 5s that uses the air vent, as opposed to the windshield?

    I'm using the Kenu AirFrame.

Agreed. It also doubles as a stand.

Sorry for bumping this thread but thought it better than starting a new one for the odd question.

Looking to get a car mount for my 5s and was looking at the air vent ones but in my Avensis the air vents can be moved up and down quite easily, so I presume they arent really suitable for these type of vents?

As long as the vents are situated in such a way, that they are practical for use then they should be OK.

The mount and phone in it will stop the vents from moving.

+1 for the Airframe. The vents on my Civic move easily enough but with the phone pressed up against them they don't move. Great piece of kit.

Sorry for the stupid question but is it ok to use this for calls (with headset) and\or satnav with this new law?

    Thanks,

Is it the airframe you are using?

Anyone know of any bricks and mortar stores that do them?

Edit: Compub do them. Might pick one up today.

Went down to Blanchardstown at lunchtime and picked up an airframe in Compub.

Took seconds to "install" and seems to do the job.

    Cheers for the advice.

It's a great piece of kit. I had gone through three different types of mounts before the AirFrame.

Yes, it's noticeably more expensive that the other type of phone holders that you commonly find on ebay etc.

So hopefully it's built to last.

I've had mine for almost two years and it's as good as new.
