How to return a Device to Google Play?

What's the best way to return a phone to Google Play that you received through Parcel Motel?

I've got the replacement phone, return box and label Google sent me. It's all prepaid if you post it in the UK however the local post office won't post it as it's not pre-paid for Ireland and I can't pay them to post it as it contains a battery. If I don't return it soon they'll charge me for the replacement.

How have other people returned items to Google Play?

Returned mine through An Post €5. Had the hold on the money from Google lifted the next day.

I shouldn't have told An Post there was a battery in the package. They were going to charge me €7 to post it in 3-4 days if it didn't have a battery.

Instead I paid €15.50 to Parcel Motel and it's now sitting more than 60 hours in the locker waiting to be collected. I contacted Parcel Motel just now and they said it would be collected this evening and then take another 3-5 days to deliver it.

Now I'm starting to worry Google will charge me as I won't have it returned in time as Google state it must be returned in 7 days.

Keep receipts as proof of postage times.

    This too shall pass.
