House Security (when away)

    Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this is the right forum but need some advice. We are attending a family wedding in the summer and were hoping to have security at the house while we are away. There are 2 house's beside each other we would want them to keep an eye on. Also we have 2 family dogs and if we had a security guy at the house we were hoping not to have to put them into the kennels.

Does anyone know of any good security firms that do this and would not be too expensive?

    Thanks:)

Youre basically looking for a professional house sitter is it?

IMO, either way they'll have to go into kennels, for nothing else but peace of mind. Someone breaks into the house, which does the security look after; the dog which has fled, or the house. Also, the security may not want to look after the dogs as well for insurance reason.

I guess that depends on why the OP is looking for "security" rather than just a regular house-sitter who will make the house look lived-in.
