Ski Season in Canada

Just wondering if anyone has any info on moving to Canada and working in the ski resorts for winter? Planning on heading over late Oct/Nov and hopefully getting a job for the mountain to get my season pass.

Just wondering has anyone gone over for a season and worked and what's the best way to go about it? Plan is to head to Banff as I think Whistler/Grouse will be too busy and i'd imagine the jobs are filled quickly/early in the year!

Any info on where to find the best jobs, accommodation etc would be great!

I've seen a few places online that sort out work in the resorts but from what i was told by an instructor i met last time i was away these usually wind up being awful jobs with little time to get up on the mountain, he said it's better to get hired by the mountain directly?
