Lance on Strava

Came across Mr. Armstong's Strava profile while stalking people on Strava ( I was reading an article on-line about which pro cyclist use it) Makes for some interesting viewing. He has over 1400 followers and if you look at the comments for his rides/runs its all positive stuff. Maybe strava/lance is delting the negative comments but it shows there is a lot of love out there still for the man. I am no fan of lance or what he did and his fractured past had been discussed to death on here. From a purely cycling point of view you have to admit there is something to admire that after everything he's still out on the bike, albeit as purely fitness/leisure capacity, maybe beneath all the crap that has transpired there is a man who does just love the sport.

Do his KOMs* have an asterisk beside them?

    http://www.strava.com/pros

Plenty of other pro's on strava to choose from.

He's been on Strava for a fair while, previously using the moniker 'Juan Pelota' ("One Ball" in Spanish.. :)), and has lots of admirers still. That he has come out from under cover is interesting, I guess. He seems to do a lot of running these days..........part of the Tri training, I presume. He once left the GPS on while taking a few cross-US flights, they had interesting elevation profiles....

If you want to pick a Pro to follow, there are plenty of good ones on Strava

I have every intention of stalkingfollowing whomever steals secures my KOMs when the Giro hits North County Dublin in May...

The irony is that he's an atheist!

On that topic would it be totally out of order to have a pop at your KOM's while your out of action ;-)

Of course - but rest assured - anyone found to have made (or even contemplated) any such attempts will lose any immunity currently in place and may well find themselves the subject of appropriate "attention" at any future date

Pop away. Alls fair in love and war. Will be trying to get one back so it can be taken off me by the pro's.

Genuinely thought strava was a new super ped when I saw thread title

Oh but it is. Nothing will get you going as fast as the chase for a KOM.

Beasty's KOMs are easy to get. Just use a tractor to draft like he does.

Any truth in the rumours he's using this: http://www.digitalepo.com

I know, he's never tested positive, but it seems like most of the pros are, and he's even faster than them! I don't believe it.

Didn't they wipe his account a while back ?
