Anybody else off sick?

Had hernia repair done at the weekend so now looking at 6-8 weeks off work. To be honest I'm looking forward to it. Catching up on TV shows and games I haven't had time for, filling my day lying around messing on the Internet and generally relaxing.

Just wondered was there anyone else in the same boat. Any other boardsies off work sick?

Off sick on the first sunny day of the year? Highly suspicious OP. Your employer has just been informed. They are sending the van for you.

Torn muscles in my back, been out for the last 4 weeks and will be out for another couple! I have just moved into a new house and I have no broadband and I haven't moved my television in yet.

I'm almost wishing I was in work. Almost.

Only off the for bones of a week myself... and not off work, just work placement for college so it hardly counts
Had a sore throat and a what I thought to be a touch tonsillitis for two weeks, said "it'll be grand" and carried on as normal, being the idiot that I am and all! Went to the doctors and oops, turns out it was a bit more serious than just a sore throat. So I am now basically on house arrest before I wind myself up in hospital.

I'll be out for a couple of weeks. I'm a school bus driver, and slipped getting on the bus last week and put my knee out. Online poker for me.

I have my annual week off for Cheltenham/Paddy's weekend.

Though I'll probably will be sick when another nag I backed gets pipped at the post.

It's weird. My Mam, Brother and Dad all took holidays from work this week without realizing they all took the same dates. I'm only in college for 2 days this week so everyone's off all at once by some bizarre coincidence.

Doctor told me he thinks I have an inaugral hernia in my abdomen..cant feel it though..

Iv had it since before xmas got it cheked like 2 months ago and he said he,d send me to get an ultrasound..still no ****ing letter !

Did you have symptoms of nausea with it? Because I feel nauseous alot in the last few months..really irritating
