I have a 600D and one thing annoys me is how small the viewfinder is. When I look through it normally, I have to adjust its position to properly see the speed and aperture info etc at the bottom. I was using a friends nikon full frame and I was amazed at how much bigger and nicer the view was through the viewfibnder. It littlerally felt like twice the size. I also quickly used a canon 6D recently and it was also significantly bigger. Yesterday I had a look at the new 70D and that was pretty nice too - I only took 2 photos but it had all sorts of info and grids etc. Has anyone else found this and which ones are best?

Depends on the format size, coverage, and prism type I suppose. Low end cameras, as well as having a low coverage, use 'pentamirror' viewfinders which seem pokier than pentaprism ones. If you can't see the settings though just by looking through the VF I'd fiddle with the diopter a bit and see if you can make it better.

You should look through my Bronica's prism finder some day, it'd blow your mind :-D
