€5,000 to spend on 2nd car for run-around

Hi.... any tips on what to get for €5,000 as a 2nd Car for the wide and teen-age kids to be insured on??

• 1.0 to 1.4 litre
• 5 x seater all we need
• easy on maintenance

Have 2 x U21 kids that will need to go on the Insurance as named drivers and so looking for something that would be suitable.

All suggestions would be appreciated.... needing to get a handle on what €5,000 gets one these days!

A ford fusion or something totally uncool.

5k gives you huge choice, figure out engine size and car size and it'll be easier.

Polo maybe and save a few euro. 5k is a lot to spend on a Teens first car. id say Toyota if you really want to spend that much.
