I would like to get a good quality pocket watch as a present to myself for my upcoming wedding. Could someone point me in the direction of somewhere in Dublin I could go look at a selection and get good advice? I know nothing about watches, is there any sites you would recommend looking to give me more info.

    Thanks

I forgot to say I like the idea of a mechanical full hunter style pocket watch if this helps anyone to give a suggestion. Budget is about €200.

Oreillys auction rooms are having an auction soon, saw a couple on their list for about 150

Though I do love their Celtic Tiger appraisals on some of the watches. Times have changed lads. Then again, for your average auction goer maybe not?

That has a guide of 3-3.5K if I remember correctly - that sounds like a pretty good price?
