Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Corrib Lions Club (www.corriblions.com) is the East Galway City and hinterland chapter of Lions Club International, the world's largest Service Club Organization. We conduct activities for many causes in our local community. Our service area covers east Galway City, and stretches to Claregalway, Lackagh, Athenry, and Clarenbridge. Founded in 2002, we have raised over €100,000 for a variety of charities.

    We meet monthly in the Maldron in Oranmore, and are eager to hear from:
    1. People with ideas on specific causes with which we can help.
    2. People who are interested in becoming a member, who would like to directly contribute to their communities. You could join particular subcommittees, depending on your particular interests. You could gain valuable teamwork and/or leadership experience or help the club with your established skills in these areas. Perhaps you have experience in website administration, project management, or marketing/PR? These skills would be especially welcome, and you would be making a meaningful contribution from the outset.
