    Hi everyone,

I hope i've posted in the right place, apologies if a haven't. I've been looking into QCA bands for different degree classes including discretionary bands. I'm pretty sure i'll be graduating with a 2.1 B.ed degree. When applying for jobs how will this look as opposed to having a 1.1 degree? I've worked very hard throughout college and had aimed for a 1.1 but it won't be possible now.

Also do teaching practice grades matter when applying for jobs? I have gotten all A's in my teaching practices, will schools even look at this?

    Thanks

TP grades are important, so well done on getting As. You'll be listing them in all of your applications. Some would say that they are more important than your overall award class.

More likely they will look at TP grades. You can be good "on paper" in exams, but bottom line is you must be able to perform well in the classroom.
