As the heading says. What foods do you bring with you?
    gels,Bars, Homemade Cakes?bars?

I would be really interested in what other diabetic's use for fuel?, how much you bring with you for say 80 km, 100 km 150 km. I know everyone is different. I would like to hear how others with diabetes cope when cycling. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
For an 80 km I would bring about 4 Gel's two bottles One with High5 4:1, and the other one High 5 zero hydrating with 2/3 tabs in it depending on conditions. I also bring a banana with me. now we would stop about half way for tea and a scone.
how does this measure up to you and do you do things differently?

I'm a type 1 diabetic, and have been riding for a couple of years now, and just dipped into the racing this year. Not sure how much relevance what I do would help with Type 2, but let me know if it might help.
