blank screen when I click on internet

    Since this morning when i click on the internet in my laptop the screen is blank and there's nothing in the address bar. Does anyone know how to fix this

    have u tried another browser/ tried turning on /off ,when the pc has loaded up icons,start in safe mode.

    im a complete technophobe, what exactly is safe mode?

    As soon as you press the power button(to turn on the pc) hold down F8 select safe mode with networking,see what happens.
