    Seen what I think was a jet ranger, black with 2 long arms coming off the skids and something maybe a camera on the ends circling around the Slane area this morning. Any idea what it might be?

    Guessing here but it may be G-BPRJ which was observed at Dublin airport recently (see flickr link here - pic by user EIGJB).

    No idea what those arms are for though!

    Looks like a survey heli.

    Those discs on the arms look like GPS receivers.

    It's not Executives though. PDG works with Irish Helicopters to do the same Power Line Inspection work. They own the Twin Squirrel in the above photo!
