Just looking to get an idea how much I should be paying to have a gas boiler replaced
I'm just looking for something basic for a 3 bed house

Also would anyone know what the labour cost should be if I supply the boiler

1800 for an ideal logic only thing about costumers supplying material is if anyting goes wrong the installer might not stand over or blame Your boiler and then your caught ..so if I was you let them suppy and fit

What is wrong with the old boiler? They can sometimes (often) have a small part failure and you will be encouraged to replace the complete boiler for a crazy amount of money. Any energy savings are negated by the cost of this option unless your boiler is completely shot.

Pilot light and a valve I think with an estimate of 450 to fix
The boiler is over 20 years old

Make sure whoever you are getting quotes from that the price includes a powerflush.

You will probably struggle to get anyone to replace parts on an older boiler so maybe bite the bullet. Manufacturer supplies the warranty for the boiler and installer supplies the warranty for the installation. Go to your local plumbing merchant and ask for the boiler you want. They will probably have a make they promote for a better price. See if they can refer you to one of their plumber customers. Reckon on a day to replace if you do not need any major additional piping done however it may be an opportunity to see if the system can be upgraded to better controls and higher efficiency. "Basic" is often inefficient.
Do your own research so you have some idea of the good and bad in boilers and get what you want.
