That's mad. I drive for a living and must have passed dozens of sites where it's only €4. Big proper signs about it.

I think the base wash is €4 but they've a top rank one which is a lot more, I think €12, this looks a good deal to me to be honest, thanks Op

Wonder which car wash is the app offer for though?
Drive thru car wash or the carwash where you get out and clean down the car with the power hoze lance and shampoo brush yourself?

There's 1 where they clean the car for you as well I think that's the top 1. I must go and get my car washed and pick up my free treats, I think I've 2 months worth of stuff to get.

Nice one op, got the attended conveyor one in Glasnevin for a fiver, normally ten for the top wash

Last time I did this I went to the conveyor type car wash. Happily requested the top car wash, presenting my voucher. Poor guy behind the counter then calls a colleague, telling him he has to mind the till because he has to go out and do the pre-wash! Felt lousy dragging him out into the cold. :o

But anyway, I think it's normally 12 for that. Manual prewash, conveyor wash, wax, , wheels etc. It's definitely worth a fiver. I don't like auto car washes normally, but when the weather is bad, and I have several thousand miles of dirt on the car....

On a side note. I've "played" twice but never collected any "treats". How do you redeem them they've never told me about the treat on my account when I swipe the key fob. Does it lapse after a month or so?

Just pick up the treat in shops go to the till with your tag and say to the attendent you want to use your treat off your tag scan it and thats it. There valid for two months from issue

Each treat last for two months. If it expired you can try to ring the support line, see if they can do anything for you.

In a fair few cases, its something random enough to the point that they won't even have it in stock anymore so I doubt you'll get much luck.

There is always second, alternative treat - coffee and pastries if shop run out of something(cadbury chocolates for example) - just ask but not everyone knows how to apply it.
What You have is always at the bottom of receipt.

Top car wash in most of the stations is brushes.

Water and a Sandwich and Mars Tayto and a can of orange only got mine on Friday ha!

All shops should have an alternative treat, as mentioned above. If you've issues with the treats not being available, support should be able to sort you out.

If you are using the app the bar-code is to small take a screen shot of it and then zoom in it should work then.

I think those scanners are self focusing. So hold the phone still, rather then moving it in and out trying to find the sweet spot. If you're still stuck go to https://playorpark.ie/ and let them know what station you're having a problem with.

Come get you're swirll marks . They are the worst type of car washes ever and leave scratches and swirll marks on the car.

    Like this for example:

A jet wash would be better, no need for bristle brushes to ruin the paint work.

+1 on staying away from automated car washes. Over time they'll leave swirls all over the paintwork.

A lot of attended washes aren't great either where their reusing an old sponge and bucket with the chance of grit adding scratches.

Also any of them adding wax as part of it is a very diluted layer that'll last a week tops.

+1 for jet wash. Applegreen Clonsilla is only €2 for a jet wash!!! Its great to give your car a clean a week.
