    The Outfit is the name given to the Chicago Italian Mafia, the Genna's and Capones eventually fell into each other, Italian ancestry. The 1920's/30s gangwars saw off the Irish gangs lead by the likes of Dion O'Banion and 'Bugs' Moran whose gang fell fate to the infamous St Valentines Day Massacre.

    Sam Giancana was the boss of the 'Outfit' when Kennedy ran for President, Joe his father who of course had connections to the underworld from his bootlegging past allegedly got in contact with the Outfit who'd huge influence in Illinois.
