Ranges in meters or yards.eyepiece has *7 magnification.Will range trees /hillside/large rocks /walls to 1200(furthest reading was 1256) Iv ranged deer and small bushs out to 800m and foxes to a little over 500m.Only selling as I just bought a leica geovid 10*32.
Working perfect and is a great rangefinder.
