    sorry ya.

    heres what i know

3.8mm version of the tool for anyone who wants to change batteries, clean up or repair any of the following GAME CARTS:

    SNES
    NES
    N64
    Gameboy (original/color)

4.5mm version of the tool for anyone who wants to change batteries, clean up or repair any of the following:

    Sega game carts
    Sega systems
    Game Cube
    Turbografx
    SNES systems
    N64 Systems
    Game Gear
(and some cable tv equipment not my area of expertise, though ive been known to fiddle with an f connector or two in my time)

just as i said from looking online it looks like there is a variant of 4.5/3.8 for a couple of nintendo console which to my knowledge isnt the case. just looking for more concrete info.

Just came across this thread. Can you buy these anywhere in shops in Ireland? Need one sort of quickly.

Not that i'm aware. Could possibly have them in The RAGE but I would be doubtful. Ebay you're best bet

I saw a set in maplins recently that was a console repair kit. Didn't examine it closely, but could be worth a look.

    Edit:
    This would be the one!
