Price?

Is it a high spec car? It is a zetec isn't it?

Well it says "STEEL Model" doesn't it? Do you mean Zetec engine?

Mileage would be a bit high for my liking on an small engined 06 car

the mirrors are black plastic i think. i thought a high spec would have colour coded mirrors, no?

It's a zetec spec alright. And if you look closely the mirrors are colour coded.

The "Steel" model was a special edition version based on the Zetec. It came with 16" alloy wheels and a sunroof. The 1.25 engine were also known as a Zetec engine there for a while.

That car is not cheap given the mileage, my sister bought a 2008 model with only 18k miles about 3 years ago for €7500 from a Ford dealer with 6 months warranty so shop around for better value. I'd also try and find a facelifted model which came out later on in 2006, it had revised headlights and a more modern centre console.

what is it worth?
there is not much difference in the centre consoles of these two cars

It's one of the cheapest 07 on carzone so there may not be much room on the price. If it checks out I'd offer them €5k for it as see what they say. Have more than one lined up to look at though.
