Under powered for anything other than basic office work or internet use.
    Nice price though!

Ps- Windows 8 erghhh.......... You'll have to factor a Windows 7 licence into the price too........

Modern celerons are actually fine. These cpu's got a bad name as the first ones were rubbish.
However better off buying this one for £250 with £10 delivery. Better processor and new. bought one of these laptops for the folks and it's actually a very nice machine (nice looking and not heavy) that performs pretty well. Asus is a quality brand. Imo they make excellent laptops. obviously not a gaming machine for latest games (need core i5 and decent graphics card for that minimum) but will do web browsing, ms office, playing video etc perfectly fine. windows 8 isn't that bad once you get used to it a bit and in any case freeware is available to bring back the start button like windows 7. it wakes from sleep in 2 seconds and in sleep uses very little power - very useful feature.

Windows 8 is the finest once you install Start8... makes it identical to W7.

Only costs $5... and is one of the best fivers I ever spent!

    Classic Shell = free.

I think I'd shell out for a W7HP/Pro 64 bit licence- instead of using a shell. The other laptop looks nice- what I'd be inclined to do- if its not an integrated processor- is stick an ES chip in its place- pimp the laptop from a performance perspective- then again- I go for performance over aesthetics.

Anyhow- its Sunday- so the iBood offer is expired. Time to close this thread.
