    Hi

    Got ss 6800, dont have cable,broadband yet so trying to get saorview
    Not getting any network connection, assuming dont need an aerial
    Saying 'check aerial cable connection'
    Theres smtg fundamental im missing here

    Indeed there is. You need an aerial for Saorview.

    Some places, an indoor 'set top' type will provide acceptable service.
