    Very badly put together article, all over the place.

    Get the impression there's 2 different stories going on there and there's a gap missing in the story.

    So: Ray Darcy show ran a competition and gave Nicky Byrnes number out by mistake. So when listeners texted their answers to Byrne, the celebrity star saw the funny side and opted to pay the prize money himself. Fair play if that's the case.

    A day later: Graham Linehan is scheduled to appear on Darcy show, but somehow calls RTE by mistake and is put onto Tubridy show. Finally makes it on air with Ray and has mild dig at poor Tubbsy. Both incidents are totally unrelated.

    That's my take and I have already thought far too much about this
