How do you get promos from record labels?

Hey all, just wondering does anyone know how, and is it difficult to get promos from record labels? I do a weekly radio show in Galway city where I play techno, house, deep house, underground...anything with good bass and beats! There are so many good record labels in clubbing nowadays, I'm wondering has anyone ever tried…

Hey all, just wondering does anyone know how, and is it difficult to get promos from record labels?

There are so many good record labels in clubbing nowadays, I'm wondering has anyone ever tried to get promos and what's the process?
Just give them an email and ask them nicely?
I'm guessing it might be more difficult to get them off bigger labels ie. Drumcode, Ostgut Ton, Hot Creations etc.

Provided you can prove you are legit and have a decent listenership, they shouldn't have a problem. If you are pirate or a podcast, I would suspect not.
