    Don't have that one but do have a kreg their good all right i have use 4x30mm screws with it but be careful they dont come out the other side

    They are great for light construction - eg face frames but not strong enough for weight bearing joints like chairs etc.
    However once you have one there is no going back. !
    The only problem with the junior model you are looking at is that you have to clamp it and drill horizontally each time and that will slow things up. The right angled model which clamps the wood vertically is easier to use and has its own built in adjustable clamp - but is about 90 euro or so.
    The screws are a no brainer - they are hardened steel and self tapping + the square drive is a joy to use. No point trying to save pennies on standard screws.
    Incidentally, you can get plastic and wood plugs for the pocket holes but www.rutlands.co.uk sell a long plug cutter to cut plugs from the actual wood you are using - the best solution imo.

    Trend make a plug cutter for pocket holes, great thing about is that u cut the plug out of the same piece of timber (waste peice), so everything matchs !!

    Screws are available as well from not only Kreg, but reiiser and trend to name a few, available in 25mm as well, for the 15mm carcass makers, so they don;t go through the back

    ;) That would be fine but ' 9 weeks wait ' !! Shop around - I know Axminster do their own version.

    I have one and i wont dream of making units with out it . its clean and will take heavy weights on load bearing . Kergs give a great selection of plugs too . Its second to my fest tool rail guide saw . Very simple to use .
