Anyone have experience with a Mchale- Teagle Tomahawk- Taarup bale feeder/straw chopper blower??
Not looking at one for blowing straw but feeding silage only on a daily basis. Any feed back very much appreciated.

had a taarup 853 for a good few years, good machine to feed silage, blocked it a few times with hay alright but it threw out silage not a bother. they do what they are supposed to well but i found the constant cycle of getting the bales ready to be a pain, have to get all net an plastic off and then put 1 bale in and lift the back, then left it down and the 2nd bale. then 2 bales wont feed too much after

Thanks very much. I would hope to load it with a bale shear. Are you using a diet feeder now instead?

Tub feeder is far more practical if bedding isn't needed.

Is that on a tractor or a jcb type machine? Are they heavy for the tractor?

on tractor loader, yes they are heavy, half ton before you pick bale but it works away no bother really. i should have counter weight on back by right but just have power box
