Does anyone know of a UPC database available for Irish Food Products. I would be looking for something that has an API if possible. Cheers!

That's be the GTIN database held by GS1. (gs1ie.org). Not Ireland specific.
They have the http://www.gs1ie.org/DataSync/ registration page and service details.

There's a sample webpage interface to the database provided at
http://glnservice1.gs1.no/GS1GepirClient/GepirClient.aspx

There's the open database at http://openean.kaufkauf.net/ which won't be right up to date.
