Looking for suggestions for a nice hotel to go for a weekend before our little banana arrives in May.
A spa type place, that won't break the bank, and because neither of us can drive it will have to be near a train or bus station, and not in Dublin or Galway. Any suggestions?

we booked one nights bed and breakfast in Jury's Inn Custom House for 78 (for us both) off bargainbreaks.ie
Ive never used them before, so hopefully its worth it, but they do hotels all over the country and they do 1 or 2 nights BnB deals and some with evening dinner included as well!

I had a lovely pregnancy massage in the River Lee Hotel in Cork while I was expecting. It's nice and central in Cork, and does loads of special offers so you should get a reasonable one. It used to be the Jury's. Very near to Liberty Grill which is a very reasonable, but yummy place for dinner. If you want to go eat there on a weekend book well in advance though. V popular.

River Lee Hotel don't have a great relaxation area, but they have a proper pool for swimming.
