I only came across these by accident last night. I think they are released as easter eggs of the movies they are part of.

Has anyone seen them? Some very funny moments in them.

The first two films star Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, and offer up self-contained stories about a day in the life of a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. One is called "A funny thing happened on the way to Thors Hammer". I cant remember what the other one is.

The third film stars Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford as a down-on-their-luck couple who find a discarded Chitauri gun after the events of The Avengers. called "Item 47"

The fourth film stars Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger called "Agent Carter"

The fifth film stars Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery after the events of Iron Man 3 called "All Hail the King"

I have to say the events in the fifth film are very interesting... I wonder will it crop up in the Marvel universe down the line.

I actually didn't know there was a Captain America one. I'll have to look it up.

I wonder though, was the Ben Kingsley one just to calm down the fans who hated what happened in Iron Man 3, or if they are thinking of expanding on it. It's a funny little episode. I hope they keep making them for the next batch of films.

There has been a lot of muttering that Agent Carter might get her own spin-off TV show, with her short film being a testbed for the idea.

I think I read in January that show is actually going ahead. The WW2 setting has great potential, and Attwell was easily the best thing in the film along with it.
