Personally, I like to keep nutrition and hydration separate, but I like High5 products and the EnergySource looks like ok value.

I would recommend MyProtein for protein (naturally enough). Getting your protein supply in a plain old powder gives you a lot more freedom in how you can use it: I like to put it in shakes or these bars (with added marshmallows).

I tried a sample of that High5 chocolate protein shake after a race on Sunday and it is by far the most putrid tasting sh!te I have yet had the displeasure of sampling. Mixed it with water so not sure if milk might have improved it but a big thumbs down from me anyway.

Have the For Goodness Shakes Strawberry protein shake at home and it's very nice, mix with water and it makes a nice thick shake. For nibbling on the road I use GCN Uber Bar recipe.

im a big fan of this powerbar stuff for recovery.. mixed with milk its actually really nice. id nearly like to drink it when im not training.

switched to this stuff from myprotein as you get better bang for your buck, but its fairly rank compared to the powerbar stuff

From the two I've used only the protein powder and the summer fruits flavour is the best tasting in my opinion.
Generaly for protein powders I just go with whatever is the cheapest option per serving. It's not like one can taste much anyways after a hard training session or a long sportive.
