sometimes they give their email addresses at the end of an article

Or contact a media outlet eg newspaper that hires them?

You could ring the place they work for and ask to be put through to them (or leave a message)

You could email them (addresses at media outlets usually follow a set format, like forename.surname@domain.com - so it's easy to figure out).

Or you could try to find them online (like a twitter account or personal website) and contact them through that.

  • Usually a magazine/newspaper will have an online media kit with the email of the sales person - the email format will be the same for the journalist.

Type "X Newspaper Media Kit" into Google..

    Or...

Find out the name of the person you want to connect with - News Editor/Features Editor etc
Then type that name into google - often an email will come up
