Hi guys just wondering what the commute is like from Bettystown to dublin?

I am thinking of moving there because rent is much cheaper but i work in dublin (on henry street)

    Is this feasible?

Matthews operate a coach service between Bettystown and Dublin:

Can anybody tell me if this service timetable is reliable?. We are looking at houses out in Bettystown but at the moment I don't have a car and would need to use this service to commute to work. I would need to be in the Dublin City for 7.15am each morning

I live in Dublin but take the route later on in the day. I've taken the 6am bus you'd need to take a few times and it's got me to parnell Street for 715am at latest. If 715 hitting parnell Street is OK for you then you'd be grand. It's a good bus service

At 6 AM I'd have thought the service would take an hour, max and that you'd be in parnell street for 7. There should be no traffic at all.

The coach has to go back to Bettystown at 07:00 so I think you can be fairly sure it'll make that time.

Use the service all the time.

The 0600 usually gets into Parnell St for just after 0700 - year round.

If you are going to move to Bettystown, it's worth scoping out the route as so you can get something close to a stop.

Here's the inbound route with stops marked

You can also get a taxsaver ticket for use on the service or they'll accept LEAP (€5-50 per one-way journey).
