    Hi all,

A chap in Scotland May be coming to take my car. The nct is out since January and the tax is out since the end of january. If we do a change of ownership is it ok for him to drive back. If he gets stopped I mean..by the Garda. Of is there anything special seeing as the car is leaving the country.

    Thanks.

Technically it shouldn't be on the road but it'd take a right prick of a Garda to actually do him for it.

Tax won't be a problem. The lack of test will, especially in Scotland.

When you say change of ownership, do you mean he signs the book and takes it with him?

You can't do change of ownership for export, you give the purchaser the VRC, notify Shannon by letter to keep yourself in the clear.
