    Asked this on the jersey forum before it disappeared, what are you paying for a ewe delivered to the knackery and where.
    had a difference of opinion with the local one when I discovered it had gone up from €20 to €30

    Get onto local ICSA, a member was at our last BTAP, reckons it's illegal to be charged that. Can't just remember what he said, but I think €20/30 is the maximum

    I think it depends on if he happened to be nearby anyway, if he had to drive 30-40 mile just to pickup your sheep then obviously it will be more that if he was doing a pick up 5-10 mile away and then called round to you, were lucky we live about 2 mile from our knackery so if we deliver sheep, we are charged about €10 and they collect a cow for €40.
