Missing person Limerick/Clare Steven Kavanagh

21 year old Steven left Thomond Student Village after a night out at 1.50 am this morning in a taxi headed for Clonlara. He got dropped off at the crossroads at the Killaloe side of Clonlara and hasn't been seen since. His family say it is extremely out of character for him to not return home. He was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket and black runners. Anyone with any information is asked to contact gardai at Henry St.

Please god he will be found safe and well

Just enquiring any news on this guy. Hopefully he has been found safe & well. There is another lad missing in Limerick from Killeigh in Offaly. Terrible times for the families.

No trace of him yet unfortunately Volunteers are heading back out again tomorrow morning at first light. Very sad

I have to say the student union have been excellent in organising searches and only for their emails and putting up posters around the college most of the students wouldn't of known of Steven's disappearance.Disappointed there has been no official announcement from L.I.T regarding this nor any update on their news page.Still hoping he will be found safe and well.

They have called off the land searches but the marine rescue will continue to look in the water. The family have thanked everyone who has taken part in the searches. Very sad for them to still not know what has happened to Steven, hopefully something will come to light either way to end their anguish
