nested tables

    Anyone have an idea if these are valuable?

    It is a set of 3 small square tables that fit into each other..

    The birds(storks) are possibly ivory or shell (one leg has come adrift feels light) and it or maybe some kind of stone that has been carved and there seems to be mother of pearl inlay at the corners.

    The biggest table is about 2 foot high and the smallest about 1.5 foot.

    The wood is painted black and I don't think it is hardwood.SDC10421.JPG
