Hi Atm my wife is in receipt of the carers allowance for our son, is it possible for me to get the carers allowance instead? as my son is getting older my wife is finding it harder to lift him, so if I give up work to look after him she would then be able to go back to work. any advice appreciated thanks

Atm my wife is in receipt of the carers allowance for our son,
is it possible for me to get the carers allowance instead?
as my son is getting older my wife is finding it harder to lift him, so if I give up work to look after him she would then be able to go back to work.
any advice appreciated

Absolutely, you just need to fill up a carers allowance form and submit it.
