Dentist told me I have an overbite and its causing my teeth to chip while I'm sleeping. To rectify the problem I would need to get braces front and bottom. Does anyone know if private healthcare would cover any of the costs as its not purely a cosmetic thing? What's the typical cost of braces top and bottom too

No medical insurance does not cover orthodontic treatment, private dental insurance might depending on policy but usually not.

Braces cost between 1-7k depending on severity, time needed, type of braces, need for other dental work after or before, who does them and a few other things.
