Have any posters gone up to Prestbury Park in the early morning, like around 8am? Apparently it's possible to go in and have a look at the horses having a stretch of their legs and a canter around.
I've never gone for a look myself due to late nights but just once I'd like to head up and have a look. Staying in the centre of town this year so it should be an easy one to scratch.

    From the website...

The Festival - access to the Gallops
Exercise facilities for horses with engagements at the meeting are available daily from 7am to 9.30am. Access to the gallops will only be allowed on production of a Club badge for that day. The exercise grounds are in the centre of the course and are signposted from the horse walk. A schooling fence and one flight of hurdles will be available for use in the centre of the course.

Does anyone know where you actually go to gain access or is it fairly obvious when you get there in the morning?

I went up in 2003, badly hung over

Stayed around and actually got in for free.

Worst decision of my life. Was nearly dead by the time they ran the bumper

Thanks. I was browsing the site for it earlier but couldn't find it. Looked under the "About" section but was thrown a googly by the "Cheltenham Racecourse Tweed" heading.

I've found it now, why was it under "Badges for Owners" I'll never know.

7am to 9:30am, possibly do-able. Glad to see they're not charging for it. It's such a bonus of Cheltenham. Apart from accommodation prices being high (and I assume higher than normal) I've never experienced any price gouging there.
